Academic Autobiography 2

            This is my second Time I  am in this class again and my plans this time is to get a A in this class so I can raise my GPA and go to a CAL State. If not then I want to go to a community collage for a while and then transfer to a CAL State. I am planing to do my best to purse my dreams of becoming a doctor and helping other people. Well I am still thinking about either being a doctor or a pharmasist. I am going to try my very best to reach my goals. I hope my teacher would be able to help me by teaching good in class. This year I am joining the Panther mentorship program (formaly know as the BPMP). I have been going to a Asian Pasific American Legal Center(APALC) because they are also involved with helping out the BPMP. This program involves high school student, teachers, APALC, and students from UCLA. I goal I have been having is to speak in front of other people and not be shy. I have worked on this goal and I think I am getting better. My favorit subject would be math and a little bit of chemestry because they are the easiest subject. In the future I see myself doing really good as a doctor. I describe myself as a student who tries their best to do good in school. I was born here in Los Angeles CA and I started school when I was 4 years old at a preschool near where I liove at. It was hard for me because I am the first child and when I needed help I had no one to help me. When I was a junior I had a C I think. I expect for the teacher to teach us so we can learn.

Letter To Obama About Gay Rights

            In my opinion about LGBTQ is I don't care about peoples sexuality. Well it does not really bother me. I think people are freely to love the same gender if they want to. There are some people that get disgusted by others that are gay. They act like if it is contagious when it really isn't. That is one of the reasons why sometimes people do not want to become friends with them. Hey I have a friend who is not straight and nothing happens to me. She is like any other of my friends and she helps me a lot. I also help her out when she needs the help. I remember back in middle school there would not be a lot of homosexual people and whenever other students would see they would start talking about them like how discusting they were. Well they would say things like that. Now that I am in high school many things have changed. There are more LGBTQ's in the school. People started listening to their hearts and not caring what others would say about them. Many LGBTQ's back then would not say what they feel and how they are diffrent because of what others would say. But this has stoped and people are doing the right thing.

         I would not really pay attention cause they are just human beings like everyone else. One thing I don't understand is how other people could discriminate them if they are same human beings like any other. The only difference is that these human beings don't like the opposite sex, they like the same gender and others like me like the opposite sex. In my opinion I think we should let others do what they want with there lives and it's not fare for them to be judged because they have the same right as us. Other people think that gays or lesbians have some kind of mental problems but they don't. I just remember that once I was told by a teacher that being friends with LGBTQ is way better than being friends with a straight person. I think she is right because if you are a girl like me and you have a friend and she likes girls then you could could help each other in a way. I wont say how because im not a good explainer but you will find out once you are friends with and LGBTQ. I assure you of that. LGBTQ people do not have the fault that they are like this. They were just born like this. I do not understand how there are people who do not understand them. Homosexuality is romantic and/or sexual attraction or behavior among members of the same sex or gender. No one should be fobided to not be who who they feel attraction or love for! Is this not a free world? If it is then everyone should be able to love who they want to love and it would not matter if it is the same sex.     

The Crucible

                      The crucible is a tragic play and impression retained and the process of remembering that is a part of America's history a story where people from the late 1940's and early from mid 1950's believed that witchcraft was done. This play was  Thats when people started accusing others of having contact with the devil. After a while they all went crazy cause it got out of hand and everyone started to accuse each other. Having to do something with the devil was witchcraft to the crucible. A group of girls where the ones who started playing on doing witch stuff and one particular girl got all of this very serious. Her name is Abigal Williams and she was one of the main characters just like John Proctor. Abigal and John had something going on between them and they both had completely diffrent thoughts. Abigal was the girl that had to do with all the bad misunderstandings that where going on in salem's where all of this point less muders happen.  
                    

Winter break

                My winter break was okay I wont say it sucked or it was the most wonderful break because it really wasn't. I spened my chrismas break with my family most of the time which was good. We really dont spend much time together. Christmas day is always a jolly day but this time I didnt feel it like that. Some of my family members came over at my house for chrismas eve. We just ate, talked, chilled, and gave eachother presents. Not all of my family members came which really sucked cause back then when I was smaller all of my family members would reunite and we would have a great together but that was since we lived all in the same building but in different apartments. We would always stick together in the good times or bad but we were always there for each other. What changed that was that we moved away and now we don't really visit them or talk to each other. But for New Years we did call them to wish them a happy new years. During my break I went out with my sisters and my friend who is known as Dbz who is my Dbuddy. We all went to the mall to shop and bought many things. There were some days when I had nothing to do so I would watch a movie, play a game with my cousin, or just sleep. At times I would get so bored and would want to come back to school. So I would say that my mini vacations was okay.

Social Network Reflective Essay

              Most of the people now in days try to figure out how to escape their own world. They would try to escape their own world because of problems that they might of have in live. We make virtual worlds where we know we will be there without having to be worrying about anything. It so awesome to be able to have a place to escape at times. Places like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, and so on. Their are many sites now that we could go to and be their without being able to remember our problems. Hey I have my own Facebook! I sometimes do not pay much attention to what I post up and now that I have read the article I think I am going to be cautious from now on. I would not like to be haunted by a site like how I read in the article. Now I know I have to be cautious of what I post and what I say. I am kinda a gamer and I use to have an avatar from this one site called IMVU thats what I think its called. Well actually I do play a game called Runescape at times. Like the article Virtual Self said that one of the gamers was a girl and people would question her about her knowledge or skills.

              I not only have a Facebook but I have a Myspace, Twitter, Imvu and Formspringme which I do not really use. I have a Runescape and use it at times thats a place where you are a avitar and get to play with people you do not know and get to meet them. There My name is another name I would have liked to have or been named because it is unique. But on other sites such as facebook I have my nickname there. There are stalkers that get information there by the posts that others make when they dont think and relize that others may be able to get their information.
             I learned many new things about Facebook. I never new that Facebook was launched in a Harvard University only site. It slowly expanded to welcome people first threw out varieties of different universities. Then high school students were welcomed to this site but they say it was not easy to get a Facebook because you would have to be invited first. Collage students would think Facebook was the cool thing so they started to use it. After then when Facebook opened to everyone it was easier for high school student to join. They said that danger began when young students would start to talk to others who were older or the opposite which would be when older students would talk to younger teens which caused harm for everyone. I learned thall of this in my English class with Ms. Enzsar and with my fellow classmates.

How It feels To be a teenager

To be a teenager I say it would be sometimes complicated. There is times when you would feel like everything is falling on you and you would want someone to help out. You would feel like if you would need some rescuing. Other times you would feel awesome which there is no other word that could describe that happiness you would feel. When you grow up and become a teen, you start to get some freedom since you are not a little kid anymore.  Teenagers start to get in their own little things. Whether it’s television, music, art, games, or many other things more.

Teenagers are the ones whose lives are more complicated I believe. I say this cause they are growing up and many things start changing for them. They start seeing everything differently because little by little they are becoming adults. That is why their lives become more complicated. They have to concentrate in school by trying to study really hard and do their best. That means having to study for tests, learning new things, and doing a lot of homework to be able to pass your classes. Then there are also personal problems that they got to think about. This is all so hard for every teenager because they are growing up into an adult but then again it helps them to get mature for the future. When they become an adult it is so much harder. They have to be thinking of many other more things. So as you get older you have to deal with more new things that add up to your life. It is not only when you are a teenager, but it all starts when you become a teen.

When you become a teenager you begin to have a little of freedom. I say only a little because parents start to control you at times or at least try too.

Academic Autobiography

               Hey my name is Carina. My specific goals for this class is to get a good grade whether an A or B. Something i expect is to learn how to do things and new things too. My middle school was pio pico span school. It was a great school and in that school I recived good grades. My eight grade teacher was ms. Ingram she would teach really good. I understood most of the things she would teach. They where not bad I would have an avrage grade. I would recive either B or C's. I am a person well student who tries my best. My favorite subject is hard to choose but I think I would say it is math. I choose math because I think that dealing with numbers is much easier but I also like to read books now. I use to hate reading, but now I actually like to read because my best friend Dalia showed me some intresting books which I liked so I began to love to read. The book I read that got me into reading is Just Listen by Judy Blume . I have read another book by Judy Blume called Forever it was a good book too. Another book I read was At first sight by Catherine Hapka. It was a really good book about a girl named Lauren who did not believe of love in first sight until she went to a field trip then she met a guy and started feeling sparks for him. Thats when her friend told her it was love at first time and the same thing occurred to Riley the guy she met that day but it was dark and he did not really get to see him.If you want to know more about the book I say you should read it :).
